In Youngin', you met the unforgettable characters of Brian Moore and Devon Carter. In Ol'Timer, you followed Brian through the Department of Corrections as he brought into the insanity in order to remain sane. Now in this fiery finale, Devon flees to the only place on the planet he knows the New York City Police Department or the Long Island set that he double crossed wouldn't dare follow him Kingston, Jamaica. He quickly establishes himself as a quiet storm of terror when he links up with his reckless cousin and two drop-dead gorgeous women who are as deadly as they are beautiful. Things heat up in paradise when Devon crosses paths with the fiercest rude boy on the Island and discovers that they are connected by an event so shocking that they will face off in a showdown that will make one of them a living legend; and the other ancient history. Paper Trail was the greatest story never told.

I read this book on a flight -5 hours to London and it was such an awesome choice for the trip. I read the entire flight and didn't feel sleepy at all. Devon is the MAN!!!!! I love a leading man who is intelligent, powerful, calculated, and no non- sense. I love his team. They were respectful and there was no jealousy or fight for power between them.I did not read ole timer nor youngin but the author did a good job of making the story independent. It was well written and I did not need the background story of books 1 & 2 to follow along. There were little to no grammatical errors that I identified. Great job Arlene!!

Paper Trail Arlene Brathwaite 9780979746239 Books Reviews
As was told as I moved through the series it got better and better. Great storyline, loved the Devon story....Lovely way to end the series loved the crew great friendship with trust and loyalty. 5 stars
Arlene Brathwaite does it again. Another episode in the tales of Devon and Brian. As in the previous novel, the supporting characters help to keep the plot moving. There is lots of action and intrigue. This one will keep you guessing until the end.
This book is filled with action, Brian really grew up from the teen stick up kid, Jason betrayed the clique n ultimately paid the price, n Devon turned into quite a businessman, interesting to see how these three men lives changed!!! Considering I got all 3 books of this series for free I was not disappointed at all!! A great read!!!
Ok, while reading this book, I totally forgotten that Devon had dreads and was wanted in the US...this book kept my attention from beginging to end, I had to put the book down so that I can continue doing my homework and attend work...I just wanted to finish it. this book gave an insite on Devon's point of view and what and how things unspiraled and how he was and still is the man....this book was really nice and i really enjoyed it.
Paper Trail was a good story. I loved how the author focused on Devon's story and how it tied all in with Youngin 1 & 2.
Wanted in New York for murder, Devon takes his money a flees to Jamaica with the help of his Uncle. When he gets to Jamaica he hooks up with his cousin Recker and his crew. Together they build an empire together and quickly become the go to people. During this journey Devon learns to trust and love, something he thought that he would never do.
He also makes sure that he looks out for his boy Brian, but when someone violates will Brian do the same???
After experiencing the ordeals that led to the incarceration of Brian and Jason in Youngin' and Old Timer we come to the story of Devon. Devon is the only one of these close knitted friends that is left with his freedom.
Paper Trail fills us in how Devon uses his intelligence, quiet demeanor, resources and ruthlessness to stay a free man. He forms his own crew of loyal members to help him stay free and take care of those he's left behind.
This segment of the Youngin' series was the best one for me. No part of either book had a dull moment. All three are filled with action and suspense.
Fantastic job Ms. Brathwaite!
4.50*
In the final installment of Youngin, it's all about Devon. He tells his story of how he moved to Jamaica and hooked up with his cousin,Recker and his crew and found out who killed his pop. In the process he sells the coke and legitimizes. He moves to London and hooks up with Dillard and Sterling to be there security at their different establishment. It tells of how he met Ginja, a solier girl who falls for him and he falls for her. Then he gets together with Quana and its a rap he falls hard for Quana and pays for her to finish school and be his voice for his businesses. This book tells all about how he rose and got back together with Brian and moved on.
